Enquired at Peter Smith recently for

a service and they are charging £367.99 inc VAT

for an A service.......P*ss take

Emma's car is there at the moment... it was cheaper for Horizon to get the car collected and delivered back to her on a trailer than a Peter Smith's A Service.

 

By approximately 50%.

Let's put this into context, my last two A services have cost £85 and £300 - the £300 including MoT and labour for a full exhaust swap, plus a new front number plate and a couple of other bits and bobs... suffice to say even though I live close to Peter Smith's the car ain't going there.

 

It would literally be cheaper for me to take a day off work (self employed contractor, so no show = no cash) and sit at Horizon than take the car to Smith's based on this.
