Scott_Mac
Had my geo done.. and whatever they did its amazing now.. certainly has more camber on it, but long sweeping bends can be taken much faster now... Haven't had a proper road to test it on yet, but wow, i'm well chuffed. They also fixed my leaking inlet manifold gasket... so leak gone Random aside, they are also now PTP dealers/stockists.... so engine upgrades, ITG, Janspeed ahoy! I could spend a lot there now... eek!
Simon G
Even more reason to come on Sunday and test her out
steve
They also will sort out your MOT!!!! They did with mine and also did some "persuading" regarding the emissions!!! On top of that, they did a good value service, replaced my suspension with some S2 stuff (great mod!) and some other things which my crummy brain can't recall at the moment. Top Marks from me for service and price!!! Steve
Scott_Mac
Mine shall be going there for MOT too... based on the fact i need someone to refit my cat first!
MattyB
Yeah Mike certainly gave my front end alot of -ve camber Lots more front end bite tho now.
Simon G
I've got -.75 degree front and -2 degree rear camber!
Ladders
Speaking of camber! Took my wheels off at the weekend for a good clean and noticed that the insides of the tread are nearly on the wear limit while the outsides have loads of tread left. The wear is equal on both sides. Is this normal wear?
GCCK
Ladders No idea if it's normal, but mine are exactly the same. This weeks run will be the last hurrah for the old tyres cos I've ordered some Advans: £399 inc VAT delivered from BookaTrack/ Buyatyre direct to Horizon 19th May for fitting. Along with C service, S2 suspension, Hurricane, Gear Linkage, Braided Hoses, Brakes... Graeme

MattyB
Do you do alot of Motorway miles Ladders?
Mark H
All my tyres have done that Ladders, its normal, just the way the suspension is setup
Scott_Mac
ON a more spritely drive home tonight, i did decide that the back end feels a little lighter than it did before... this could be more to do with how fast the front end seems to turn in and bite... Probably need to adjust myself a little, but i'm still very happy!
Ladders
Don't really do that many motorway miles. Suppose it's because of the camber on the front wheels then that makes them wear like that!
Steve J
Ladders On NORMAL cars this means your tracking is out. Toe in causes wear on the outside of the tyre. Toe out causes wear on the inside of the tyre. Mine has worn even so I think you probably need to get your tracking looked at otherwise new tyres will get worn the same. daves2111s
As far as I know Steve is right on this one. Camber has little effect on the wear..... toe in or out does. Check out the rediculous amounts of camber on the front of F1 cars (different each side) yet although they wear very fast they stay reasonably even. All this is only IMHO Dave
