Takuma Sato will hope to end his maiden IndyCar Series season a high this weekend at Homestead Miami Speedway.
Taku goes into the Cafes do Brasil Indy 300 on the back of an impressive performance on home soil at Twin Ring Motegi at the wheel of the #5 Lotus-KV Racing Technology entry, where he was the highest placed Japanese driver in twelfth place.
The former F1 racer has shown his potential on ovals this season after running near the front at Indianapolis, Iowa and Chicagoland
"We had a very successful weekend in Japan though it started with some difficulty," Taku said. "The result doesn't explain everything but my team worked extremely well together.
"I have great confidence in them going to Homestead for the final race of the season in good shape."
