Brazilian Gp - Practice 1 - Lotus Renault Gp Report

Lotus Renault GP began its preparations for this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix with Romain Grosjean and Bruno Senna out on track.

 

Bruno completed 32 trouble free laps using Pirelli’s developmental hard compound and the medium compound. Romain used the developmental hard and the medium compound too, but his running was curtailed after 18 laps with a clutch issue.

 

Romain ended the session with the 12th fastest time of the morning, a 1min 15.732secs almost two tenths of a second faster than Bruno who was 14th quickest with a 1min 15.732secs.

 

Vitaly Petrov will get back into the number 10 car for FP2 and the rest of the weekend, with the clutch issue expected to be rectified.

 

Fastest in FP1 was Mark Webber with a time of 1m 13.811secs.
