Lotus Hits Hollywood

As Hollywood prepares for the inevitable Oscars race, LOTUS Magazine celebrates the glamorous dream factory with an iconic Hollywood issue AND lotus-magazine.com goes live.

The highlight of issue two of the LOTUS Magazine, published by the legendary British car manufacturer, is a photo shoot of the future Lotus car models in the Hollywood Hills by iconic South-African photographer Purienne. The shoot represents the first time the future range has been photographed in a real life situation.

For the uninitiated, the LOTUS Magazine is so much more than a car magazine. Its a lifestyle choice. It celebrates the Lotus spirit - adventure, style, pioneering spirit, innovation, and quality - in all areas of modern lifestyle, said Group Lotus CEO Dany Bahar. This magazine is the perfect example of Lotus as a lifestyle brand.

Still not convinced? Look no further than the Hollywood issue for evidence: Here you have an interview with Jeremy Curl, the famous 28 year old explorer heralded as the new Lawrence of Arabia, a tribute to the legendary Jochen Rindt, the James Dean of Formula-One-Racing, a test drive with Matt Damon, a feature on the King of Surfing, Doc Paskowitz and a sneaky peak behind the scenes of Pretty Woman, one of the many motion pictures starring a Lotus. All this plus a sensational photographic portfolio by acclaimed snapper Tom Schierlitz, dedicated to the start of the F1-season and the new Lotus-Renault GP entry.

These are just a few examples of how the magazine transports the reader on an exciting journey into the world of Lotus. 164 pages of pure unadulterated adventure, style and entertainment. LOTUS Magazine offers high class journalism from an excellent editorial staff of renowned international writers and photographers, said Publisher Christian Kmmerling, who has been decorated with an impressing number of magazine publishing awards himself. Lotus is a great brand, and now we are channelling its return to form. This needs to be backed up by exceptional journalism.

For a sneak preview of issue two and a behind the scenes look at the Hollywood shoot go to the newly launched dedicated site www.lotus-magazine.com. Its cool. Its sexy. Its avant-garde. Its Lotus. In the words of American novelist, Bret Easton Ellis: the better you look, the more you see.

LOTUS is published three times a year (Spring/Summer/Autumn). The Hollywood issue will be out by the end of February.

If you want to subscribe to the magazine and get your personal copy you need to go to www.lotus-magazine.com .

A copy costs 20, 25, $30. All three issues in 2011 are delivered to you door for 60*

  • Lotus Model Collection

I have a bit of a Lotus model and memorabilia collection that I inherited from my Father that really needs to be moved on. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience on the best way to deal with this?

    TRD Airbox for Elise

Hi, Apologies if this has been answered recently - I've just joined and couldn't find anything in the search.   I've recently bought a 2018 Elise Sport 220 which I've been enjoying hugely. About the only thing I'd like to change is the sound, and I've read that a TRD airbox is a big improvement. The problem, of course, is I have also read they are no longer made and I can't find any in stock either. So does anyone have any suggestions: - where might I be able to find one?

    Evora 400 Audio Upgrade?

Hi Guys It took me over a couple of hours to drive back from LiTP because of traffic etc. Its the first time I tried listening to the stereo and it was pretty dismal. I did some research and it turns out my car left the factory without the rear amp, subwoofer, cabling and brackets so I'm probably looking to install a mini amp, sub and upgrade the front speakers as apparently they are very poor. Just wondering if anyone else has done anything similar to their Evora and what they did. Wo

Poster for the 2027 Lotus in the Peaks.

As I’m sure many of you will be pleased to hear, the work has started for 2027 Lotus in the Peaks. Paul (Oakman) had a fantastic idea for next years poster, so today we banded a few cars together and went out to do the photo shot. I happened to leave my dashcam running.  Enjoy   Photoshoot.mp4
