Following on from the full grid of 44 Lotus at Brands Hatch, we have yet another full grid at Zandvoort on (23-24 May) with 33 cars entered for what is a maximum grid of just 30 cars due to noise restrictions.
HARC who organise the State of Art Historische Zandvoort Trophy meeting have given permission for a maximum of 5 extra cars to start.
Local Lotus main dealer, Van der Kooi Sportscars, are supporting the event and have arranged for a separate parking area inside the paddock for 50 Lotus owners. Former Formula 1 World Champion, Alan Jones, was hugely impressed by the number of Lotus in the car parks at Brands so support should be strong again at Zandvoort. We also see a record number of entries in both the LCE 2-11 and Exige classes.
Spectator entry is available on the day with free practice, qualification and race 1 taking part on Saturday and race 2 on Sunday lunch time.
