Lotus appoints Geoff Dowding as global sales and aftersales director

• Senior international automotive executive Geoff Dowding joins Lotus

Lotus is delighted to announce the appointment of Geoff Dowding as Global Sales and Aftersales Director, reporting to Lotus Cars CEO, Phil Popham.

Geoff joins from Al Habtoor Motors, one of the largest distributors in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he was COO. Prior to this, he held a variety of senior roles with brands including VW, Nissan, Porsche, Harley-Davidson and Bentley.  At Bentley he played a pivotal role in the development of the specialist Mulliner business and in establishing the brand’s expanding dealer network around the world during his 18 years with the company.

Phil Popham, CEO, Lotus Cars said, “With Geoff’s proven track record and experience with luxury automotive brands, volume producers and niche players, he brings a depth and breadth of experience to our business.  He will play a fundamental role in the future global sales and aftersales operations of Lotus as we enter a new era of expansion.”
