Now driving enthusiasts, fans of the Lotus brand and those who want to drive cars from one of the finest sportscar marques in the world will be able to hire a Lotus Evora exclusively from Hertz Italiana S.p.A.

Dany Bahar, Chief Executive Officer of Group Lotus plc, commented: "I am delighted that Lotus has renewed this agreement with Hertz and we've been given the opportunity to make our stunning world class sports car available to the luxury rental market. The iconic, lightweight mid-engined rear wheel drive configuration performs like no other and the 2+2 seated Lotus Evora is the perfect choice for those who desire exclusive and high performance motoring. Driving an Evora during a weekend will be an unforgettable experience for any sports cars enthusiast "

Fabio Spaccasassi, General Manager of Hertz Italy, said: "We like to offer exclusive driving experience. We keep on focusing on the Hertz Fun Collection to give our customers the possibility to drive the cars they have always dreamt of driving. The Lotus Evora is one of these dream luxury cars and by including it in the Hertz's Fun Collection our customers have an opportunity to drive a real sportscar. We are honoured to be able to work with Lotus in worldwide exclusivity and are delighted that Lotus has given us the chance to fulfil our customers' lifelong dream again."

Hi. I have juts joined your site, thank you. I have a 1979 Eclat , and the interior is very beige and velour. It was near about perfect, till my dog clawed it and ripped it.  Was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere that the fabric could be purchased please??  Thanks

    S1 Type 49 Elise Refresh

And so the winter refresh of my S1 Elise started today. Hoping to take front clam of tomorrow. However of the 4 lower bolts that hold the lower rear to the chassis, 2 are spinning and 2 won't budge despite copious amounts of penetrative oil over the last few months. The Eagle eyed will spot my Dremel tool which I'm not looking forward to using to remove 4 bolt heads that have limited access. Currently on my list are replacing the driving lights brackets, shot blast and paint the tow post, n

    Newbie

Firstly, I just thought I’d make a post to say thanks for letting me join, seems like a friendly forum. I don’t own an Elise currently, but ever since I had some passenger laps around donington park as a teenager a good 15 years ago I’ve always wanted one. Currently have an mr2 and want to stick with a Toyota engine, so I gather I’m looking at an S or 111r model? Hope to see some people at some meets soon.
