Code of Conduct for MLOC
1. Respect and Courtesy All members are expected to conduct themselves with the highest levels of respect and courtesy during any club-related activity, whether online or offline. This expectation extends to interactions with both fellow members and non-members. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all participants can enjoy their shared passion for cars without discrimination or discomfort.
2. Professional and Ethical Conduct Members must avoid any actions or behaviors that could potentially harm the reputation of the club or its operations. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from illegal activities, upholding the club's integrity, and avoiding any engagements that might reflect negatively on the club or its community.
3. Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community. As such, discrimination, harassment, or any other behavior that undermines the dignity or self-esteem of an individual will not be tolerated. This applies to but is not limited to discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or any other legally protected characteristic.
4. Enforcement of Code of Conduct Violations of these guidelines may result in actions taken by the administration team, including but not limited to warnings, suspension of membership privileges, or expulsion from the club, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
5. Reporting and Grievance Procedures Members are encouraged to report any incidents where they feel these principles have been breached. Reports can be made confidentially to the designated officers, and every complaint will be investigated thoroughly and impartially. We are committed to ensuring fairness and respect for all parties involved.

I want more noise from my Elise, it currently has a Lotus Sports Exhaust fitted but sounds crap compared to my mates Janspeed!, any cheap ways to get the exhaust sounding a little better - other than an induction kit?

Well the Elise is my first venture into RWD, and obviously Mid Engine (did anyone ever make an Mid engine FWD car ) Today was also the first day it has rained properly since i bought it, i think i now understand what it means when people say be careful - pulling out of a junction we had a nice slew sideways moment, forgetting to be more gentle on the throttle, whilst at those speeds it was very cool, it has made me aware quite how easily the back can break traction, so i shall be taking it steady on the nice roads for a while longer.... Are they really that bad, will grannies in shopping trollies be going round corners quicker than me now? Or do you just have to …

At last I have found a place where similar minded, Lotus owners exist in numbers! was beginning to think I was the only one around. Anyway, if anyone knows of any local events/meets that might get me integrated with the scene then give me a shout.

If you're out driving tonight - beware... all the morons seem to be on the roads at the moment! It must be their annual day out I think I've had them all on the way back from work tonight including people to hog the outside lane of dual carriageways, people driving too close, and then to top it off I was in the filter lane of a dual carriageway when two yobs in a battered Fiesta started commenting on how 'Daddy' must have brought the Liz for me. Had the last laugh though... as my lights were changing I shout at the top of my voice: 'No actually, some of us can get jobs that pay more than minimum wage!' They didn't look too happy with that. Take care…

Just ordered a CRP and sports zorst from Geary Should be arriving Tuesday so can't wait to get it all fitted up! Can anyone recommend anwhere to get it done or should I have a go myself? Nick Whales will do it for about £90, Paul Mattys said about £45, or I could get some ramps from Halfords for about a tenner and have a bash myself. I have fitted exhausts to other cars before (non-liz) so hopefully shouldn't be too bad once all the bolts are loose. Anyone got any sound files of what it's likely to sound like? Hope it's gonna be nice and loud! Steve.

Guys i'll probably get flamed (sp??) for being cheeky but i've run out of ideas. Right here goes I'm looking for some Kind Generous (own company owning) type/s to sponsor for the full season my 11 a side Sunday league footy team, our new season starts in a little under a week (this sunday) and we desperately need a sponser to fund us in buying some new nets, league fees, training equipment (some balls, cones etc) and maybe a new strip, or at the very least some new tops with your company name on them. So if there is anyone out there who can help please contact me, either by replying here, or to my mail address Cheers Wuddie

Had a little drive to Donnington this afternoon and watched a load of SELOC'ers having a go round the track. Didn't see any MLOC stickers or familiar faces? Did nobody go for a look? There were about 30 cars - seemed to be loads of S1 160's Anyway some good cars there. No GJOBS ! - just plenty of hardcore owners. DOT who frequents the SELOC forum - her scandal motor has an awesome sounding tickover - similar to an exige - will have to find out what shes done to it. It wasn't just liz's - some MX5's MGF's and some real fast Cossies going around. There seemed to be only one car I saw that broke down.......and it was an elise ! He did give us a smile…

To compliment the new stickers there are now some MLOC "calling cards", perfect for flyering any local Loti you may spot under their windscreen wiper They are business card size to fit in your wallet and are laminated. There will be batches available at most local events, if you cant get hold of any please private message on the MLOC forum with the full name and address you would like them sending to.
