You ever had any problems with your 28x8 front plate? As in, from the authorities.

 

Got mine through today (complete with MLOC livery), and by-eck its small! Smaller than I expected! Will fit it once my front-end repairs are complete.

 

I also heard a mention of "industrial strength velco" - Halfords didn't have any - where else can I get the stuff?

Yeh its the heavy duty velcro and no I've not had any problem with the plate and its been on for a long time.

 

Anything bigger than that and I end up having the thing get knocked off!

I know all your feelings about the black 28 x8 front plate, but because I listen to no one (one of my failings) I ordered one and it arrived today see pic.

 

Just gotta put it on the car, now wheres my nearset Halfords......

HEH looks good...but isnt a black front plate illegal unless your car is over 30 years old?..but then again..the size is aint much help either... so good luck to ya!

1972 ish was the cut off date. She only does a couple of thousand a year, so thought it was worth it.
