Rookie ECU question.

Being an old fart, I'm not familiar with modern car technology. My Elise S3 ECU light is permanently lit. I know that this is a 'take to your friendly and expensive Lotus technician' scenario but I've heard that this is quite common. Oil level is fine, haven't changed fuel octane. Maybe air filter. Any feedback would be great. Also, advice on ECU reader suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

A permanently lit ECU (Engine Control Unit) light on your Elise S3 can indicate various issues. It's crucial to have it properly diagnosed by a Lotus technician to pinpoint the exact problem. In the meantime, ensure your oil level, fuel quality, and air filter are in good condition. For ECU readers, consider reputable brands like OBDLink or ScanTool for diagnostics and monitoring.
