What a mess someone's made of a great car - although I must admit, I quite like those headlights - a bit like a Porker?! And why orange wheels for godsake!?! :(

Thanks for that Steve... :D I suppose I asked for that

I find that when touring, you pull up at a nice hotel in such a nice car, you get your stuff out of the car and walking looking like a dosser just isn't me.

I have to say that I hate having things rolling around in the boot and I just like the idea that if you can't get it in the bag it isn't going (Stops she of the near side taking ten pairs of shoes  ). Seeing that every bag has its own place and the luggage is designed to maximise boot space it should only take seconds to load the car up.

I do think that the Lotus badges could be far more discreet.

I think alot of the stuff mentioned in this post is fine actually! Specially the site that Fiona gave a link to.

Yeah there's some disgusting things but people are so quick to call things 'Chav' or 'Too bling' :D

It's like anything at all you buy for your car after it's rolled out the factory, seems to fit into one of these categorys!

For those of you who can afford it, I'd strongly recommend the 'delux' option, for the discerning traveller:

or for those rich people who got 10p :) ]

RE: Lambo doors, I believe at least one of the original design concepts for the Elise had such doors but they couldn't design a mechanism that was light enough and cheap enough to achieve it. So maybe not so bad?

Possibly, but such doors seem a bit over the top for a car that is intended to be inspired by 'performance through lightweight'? Maybe a case of designers getting a bit carried away and straying from the brief?
