Hi my m100 starts first time on initial start, but the starts thereafter seem to take longer.I think that it could be overfuelling as there is a smell of petrol has anyone any idea of the cause?

Cheers Dave

Dodgy starter motor?

Wouldn't explain the fuel smell but might explain poor hot starting.

Not sure if the Elan has a charcoal canister, but could be problems with that or fuel tank breathers....

Does your chargecooler work as well?
