a7esk Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Who the best companpy to go with being that its a lotus with no spare wheel so flat bed needed recovery Was with CCI but at the moment there sorting out a new company to go with. Eddie .
darryl Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 On new Lotus cars you get AA cover, were with Lloyds bank and get AA cover, our two "classic" cars insurance includes breakdown cover, think most recovery company's will send low load wagon or the trailer unit that goes under the front wheels. We have used the AA in the past and they have been very good; only used the RAC once and they managed to do loads of damage to my TT 600 recovering m'bike after I badley broke my arm and couldent ride home
scatty Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 i use the aa and i know they will send a flat bed if requested. i asked this when i had the scoob, as they dont like being dragged on 2 wheels...
Steve G Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Out of principle, I wouldn't recommend the AA. They can use private companies during their busy times (not sure if all companies do this). Lets just say that the private company that came out to my Elise cost me many thousands of pounds after a mis-diagnosis. I use Green Flag now.
