Will definately try both and see which one I prefer.

 

I can certainly understand the "only a Lotus will do"... I'm a little concerned that if I get a VX I'll be forever thinking "I wish it had the Lotus badge on the front...!"

Im was starting to think i was on the wrong site, with all this talk of vauxhalls. Im old enough to have grown up wide eyed at gold leaf coloured Elan sprints. Ive wanted a Lotus ever since. Ive now at a ripe old age saved up enough for an S1. It was only ever going to be a Lotus for me. Yes it rattles and bangs a bit but what a car to drive in anger Each to there own i suppose.
