Just had my renewal through the post from Bell-Direct (Admiral). It had risen by £50 to £535, haggled a bit and they reduced it to £509. I still wasn't happy so I rang Adrian Flux. I'm now very happy with a policy of £335.

 

I can't believe I paid £950 to Churchill insurance 2 years ago.

I'm with norwich union, 27, £430 fully comp with a hefty £700 excess, full no claims and cobra with tracker. Got it sorted last week, roll on the summer.

Its a race car policy - no idea what the criteria are but I was pointed in that direction.

 

I'll try and find the company's details - not sure if they do Elises, but I guess they must !!
