Broken Windscreen

Just had a new windscreen fitted a couple of weeks ago as the screen got cracked by a stone.

 

First long journey i did in the car since and i've got hit by another stone !!

 

This one should be able to be fixed (auto windscreens booked for tuesday)

 

Do other people get many broken / chipped windscreens, is it a thin windscreen etc or have i just been unlucky in my first few months of lotus ownership ??

I have a few chips, but no breakages (touch wood) as yet...

Get this I had a broken rear screen going up A52 Derby rear window exploded

£30 for window £300 to fit..

Chris, i think you've been unlucky, i've had a couple of stones hit my screen but they havn't broken it yet. I hate it when you can see it flying towards you and there is bugger all you can do but wait for the crack, and hope it doesn't do any damage.

S2 rear screen is fixed (unfortunately).
