Well at least it'll have a friend to talk too...

Bermuda, it wouldn't have been collected if it had been written off... once repaired, that would be a cracking car to buy, Graeme spent a silly sum on it very recently making it into a cracking car, it will be "like new"

Glad its going where you want too Graeme

You mean we're roomies, Foley?

No it didn't get written off! Not even close. I'm afraid that was more my emotional outburst.

Had some good news back from the garage. They've had it up on the ramp and the damage isn't too bad on mine - confined to a small number of components. List includes rear clam, engine cover, grilles, rear diffuser, exhaust, exhaust manifold and subframe. Apparently the exhaust when it got pushed forward put a crease in the subframe, but that's what protected the chassis. Sounds like they might be flexible on where they source manifold & exhaust. Janspeed stainless in lieu of OEM Lotus mild steel?

It's going to take 3 weeks apparently - blame Lotus' inconsistent approach to the supply of parts - just as well I've got a spare Elise in the garage!

Graeme
