Embedding A Webpage In A Post

Is it possible to embed a web page in a post, for example, have a link to a google map route and a small image (say 600pixels) of the map itself?

 

Does this hinder loading time of the page?

HTML is disabled on the forum for security so you wont be able to do that. I can look if you can embed google maps into the forum as a native format though.

It's ok, just wanted a snap shot of the google map route for the thread of my trip, I might just take screen shots and add them as images.
