Private Messages - No Alert

Not sure how long this has been happening or it was just a one-off.

 

A member messaged me via a PM earlier today however, I didn't get a alert nor did it state '1 new message'. When I logged into my message box the message appeared as unread.

 

Like I said, not sure if is a one off or a common problem

I thought I had the same problem, but when I looked in my inbox - no one had PM'd me
