Rattle, Help :(

check that the W clips that hold the window weatherseals on have not dropped into the door void. i had this on my old S1. Could also be a dash clip in the sill. Do you get a sliding noise if take the car to 50mph and then stand on the brake ??

Its dont think it can be that as it seems to be a rattle rather than something sliding around. I will check tho.

Ok, went out yesterday after thinking I had fixed the noise, but after about 15 minutes it started again, and got louder and louder as the car got hotter. I am still not sure what the feck is causing it. Seems to be either the door or something in the side seal. Could it be the cooling pipes? are they in there?

Cooling pipes do run down the drivers side yes... could be something rattling on them?

 

Clutch pipe?
