Time Lag Between Message Posts & Email Notification

Been getting a few email notification of messages on MLOC which have been taking up to a week to arrive.

 

No problem to a regular visitor like me, as I'll see the new message pop up when I next log in to MLOC, but a bit disconcerting to receive a notification up to a week later of a message I'd deleted days before!

 

Not a priority, but on the basis that it's never been like this before, what could be happening differently? Could it be the mail server not messaging back to MLOC server (I link a yahoo mailbox to MLOC but nothing otherwise unusual about the mailbox)?

Same here - 7 notifications in the last 3 days but they were all for stuff that 2-3 weeks old.

me too lots of notifications for messages some quite old.

Several days to get notification of messages.

Same here, just assume there had been a forum upgrade or glitch causing it.

Yep there was a problem with the server which meant mail was backup up. I had the same problem with the messages being out of date. Its all sorted now though I believe
