Hi - I will be buying an Elsise hardop in the next 2 months and wondered if anyone else is planning the same. Middlemoor Mouldings offer a decent discount for bulk orders.

i have got a number from a bloke that just started out making roofs, he qouted me £600 for roof with alcantra trim inside......or £700 with trim and painted to colour of your choice.

Is that the one that was on the Sinclare stand at Donnington? Look very nice and the price is certainly similar. If he's just starting out he might appreciate a bulf order from us lot. If we get it in soon they might even be ready by the time we actually need them to.

 

Put me down for a short roof in silver with black alcantara please , but no ta on the middlemoor ones cos they looked pants IMHO

not sure where he was at show, he rang me after seeing my advert for one on eliseparts.com. he did say he was going to the show, and said he,d just started out. i think he sounded like he was from New Zealand.... i,ll give him a bell and ask if he gives discount on large orders.

ok spoke to bloke this evening, he is willing to give us group discount on roofs....s1, s2 long and short type and even gullwing if that floats your boat.

he said normally he sells roofs, painted and alcantra in which ever colour u want for £800. he said he would do us these at £700 painted and coloured cloth/alcantra u want. all he needs is your paint code and wat u would like cloth wise. he does ask for half deposit, or full payment which i think is only fair as he has to live aswell and needs funds to produce these roofs. He also said that he can supply roofs in black gel coat with no cloth inside at £500. he is quite busy doing other roofs for elises and VX220s, so if u are interested please let me know ASAP so i can order them and he will try get them sorted ASAP.

if some one could please post this on seloc for me as i have lost me password and haven,t had time to sort it out.....so if anyones so kind then we could get a good deal on these roofs.

I dont suppose we know who this guy is? Did he have samples at Donnington? I don't mind the money part but i deffinatly don't want a middlemoor or fibreone roof as they looked shocking (same company now aren't they?)

if he can do gull wing, it sounds suspiciously like a middlemoor middleman to me? Or is that a muddlemore man?

he did have examples at donnington, not sure if he is middlemoor or watever, i think he works on his own and i checked that site and prices he qouted me over phone where differant to prices on that site so i,m guessing its nothing to do woth middlemoor at all.

regards to payment simon i reckon it would be best to send this direct to him then there is no chance of me losing it etc unless you would prefer i handled the money side??? oh and something i didn,t mention in other posts where, delivery is free anywhere in Uk and he can also do union jack style roofs if wanted. if i can get definate numbers then at least i can maybe haggle for bit more discount if they is enough of us
