Horrible Journey Tomorrow

Over 400 miles in the Exige tomorrow, almost all of it on motorways

 

 

Although spending all day Wednesday on the GP circuit at Spa-Francorchamps will make up for it

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sorry just looking forward to a full day on my 2nd favourite circuit!

Not fun, did 6 hours of driving in mine today and the cabin was hot even with the con-air on.

 

Shame mine didnt have a track day at the end of it!

I was wrong, the journey back was the horrible bit, although that was something to do with only going to bed at approx 3am and getting up again at 6:30am to drive back as needed to be in work this afternoon (didn't make it!!).

 

Trackday was great, I was getting a bit bored overtaking GT3's, although I did notice later in the day the moved over straight away .

 

There was a very nice black GT3 there in the morning which wasn't so nice later after it went visiting the tyre wall at the top of Eau Rouge. Hopefully everyone survived the 2nd day okay!

Best trackday ever! Worth doing in September (not the cheapest unfortunatly ).

 

Made it back in one piece, but just about to head into the garage to try and find the oil leak which (along with being very tired (only 3 hours sleep the night before)) meant quite a few stops on the way home.

 

Also had a chat with the Belgian police as well, about my lack of front number plate, showed them the pre broken one ;)and they went away!

Completely off topic Mark, I see you shortened your gear stick in your Sport 160. Did you just take a hacksaw to it? Did it feel much tighter?

Yes, the git woke me up as I'd stopped in a service area for a (much needed) sleep!!!
