MattyB
Coming back last night at 3am (I *love* driving at night, when its quiet) I was having some fun on the way back from a crap night* and taking some corners enthusiastically. Noticed a low rumbling/vibration/groaning when taking right handers. Did it twice, then I couldn't get it to do it again. I'm sure this is a sign of something wearing - ball joints or something....but due to my general mechanical retardedness I can't remember what it is. Any ideas? *Also, I know this is very OT from the thread, but has anyone ever been to "Blast Off" in Wolvo? If anyone asks, just say no!
GCCK
Front or Back? Could be a wheel bearing, knackered damper. Or maybe even tyre on clam - how low is the car & how hard were you cornering? Ball joints tend to knock. Graeme

MattyB
lol...luckily for me being single I don't have to put up with it Its from the rear, I think. I was going pretty quick but not on the limit. I'm sure it wasn't wheel on clam - mines pretty low (100/110) but I'm sure it was a different noise... Might have been nothing...I'm off to Shropshire with some mates (including Scott...argh) in a couple of week, I'm sure if its anything serious it'll happen again there!
