Now that you have Cleaned, Dyed and Proofed you roof, be careful with washing the car. For the roof, only use plain water or a very very weak shampoo mix as washing with shampoo will start to degrade the effects of the water proofing.

Good evening all as a new lotus owner as I have just started to strip down and ready furbished a 1985 lotus eclat excell. Are all OK people on this site all newish lotus owners or is there a classic section?? Geoffrey .thanks

Hi Geoffrey and welcome to MLOC, We don't have a classic section as such but that's not to say we don't have any classics. We certainly have some Excel owners who I'm sure will be more than willing to answer any questions you may have
