S2 Elise Rear Indicator Not Working

On the way to the meet up this morning, the dash indicator light when turning right was going at twice the speed as to when turning left, and indeed right indicator was not working when checked at the meet up.

Hoping it would be something simple like the bulb had just come loose, it turns out the right inner light (which is not the indicator) light bulb casing has snapped completely. I guess the rear inner and outer rear lights must be in series as there doesn't seem anything wrong with the indicator light itself.

Time to start hunting on internet as just one rear light on eliseparts is £273 + VAT. Ouch

Tried Junks (phil) on SELOC? he might have one, or as a last resort you could try UK Lotus Centre in Birmingham (near Oldbury, they are Lotus breakers and have tonnes of stuff, not the best reputation in the community but for a light casing you'll be fine

thanks, have contacted both Junks and the UK lotus centre, plus Scott Russell cars are checking if they have any lying about. Will see what comes back.

all fixed now, replaced the broken fog light with a new old stock one I found on ebay for about £180, plus one new indicator bulb.
