Jamo
Next week is new tyre time and a brand new set of Yoko Advan Neovas will adorn my Elise. Can anyone who has experience of these tyres give me some tips on how to run them in, speed limits, mileage, do's & don'ts etc. Much appreciated, cheers. chorton_1
Nothing particularly special to do really. Go easy on them to start with as the releasing agent used to remove them (and indeed all tyres) from the moulds can be slippery. Tyre pressures the big query. I found that with book settings the car was very oversteery. I've settled around the 23psi Fr, 26psi rear region - but its worth an experiment. MarkH
I was told a couple of thousand for mine!!!! But 500 miles seemed to do the trick. Great tyres! Mark
malbon
couple of hundred miles. if the roads greasy then give it some stick out the junction to scrub the rears. I used to be able to fishtail it 30yds down the road when it was wet or greasy. Takes the surface off the tyres and is dead funny for anyone whos behind you
Steve J
Err not recommended to do that though especially on the public highway Leave spinning for the track Jon
