Starting On Frosty Days

Hi guys,

 

Coming into the winter months with the frost, Ive noticed some odd behaviour from my S2.

 

Although the headlight are off, when I turn the car over they switch on and zap the battery enough to not get the old girl going.

 

Im currently in the process of clearing space in the garage, but wondered if there were any other solutions for this problem.

 

Would a full cover sort it?

Weird behaviour from the lights sounds like there's a problem with the battery not being fully charged, how old is the current one?, as they don't seem to last long.

 

Have you tried re-charging it, making sure the terminals are clean and have a good contact, checking the earth?.

 

I don't think putting it in the garage or under a cover will help much

Cheers, I will check that out. Havn't checked the battery since I bought it. Oops
