Chris_edeson Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Don't think it will fit a TT though Chris ;-) Kick a man while hes down... I expected better !! :-)
G Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Good move putting the engine mounts in with your exhaust, the movement in the engine is horrific and you can see how exhausts get snapped. I fitted the eliseshop inserts as they were a little bit softer than the others, car gave a tiny bit of vibration at idle (which disappeared after a couple of weeks) but the car feels much more solid. Previously you could feel the engine rocking especially on lift off. You will love the exhaust it's very quiet on cruise motorway speeds, Laura drove past me last week when we picked up the car from London and it whistled past silently. On full throttle, well wait and see....... I've tripped the mics at Bedford and been black flagged. I have TRD airbox fitted too which pushes the limit. You will get through them if you short shift, I just got bored of doing that and went for it. wait till you see /feel the weight difference.!! i fitted my own tubular which weighed little compared to the oem one that nearly squashed me under the car when the final bracket released above my head!!!! enjoy richbk Chris didnt you have the honours of lying under the exhaust when we released yours??
Chris_edeson Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Chris didnt you have the honours of lying under the exhaust when we released yours?? yeah they do tend to "fly off" with force and are heavy as!! although it wasnt the exhaust that cut my face open it was the useless spanner i was using trying to get the undertray off haha!
noddy Posted April 21, 2012 Author Posted April 21, 2012 I already have a TRD air box fitted so can't wait to hear the sound when the 2bular goes on :-)
