[email protected]
Hi guys I've got a 97 S1 and I've noticed that the inlet manifold is different to the standard one (attachment). Can't show you mine as I dropped my digi camera in a jug of beer on Sat! It's alloy, although a very sim shape to the one which is seems to be standard (mgf one). Any ideas?! [email protected]
Sorry, here it is in full.
Steve J
Is it possibly a PTP one?
Mark A
If it is squarer like the one in the picture below it is the uprated one which will probably mean the car has a few more bhp than 118.
[email protected]
Yes, that's the one, but mine's in black. So it 's a little more powerful then? Good! PTP make it do they? Cheers
[email protected]
Hello, yet again Mines got a plastic throttle body on this PTP thing. Would it be best to add an alloy one to it? Can't believe it's got a £600 inlet manifold!
Scott_Mac
That looks the same as mine in the picture... Alloy inlet manifold will sacrifice torque, so not necessarily a good plan... more top end grunt mind
