Temperature Guage

Hi folks,

 

The temp guage on my S1 started flicking between 48 and 58 degress last week, with no changes as the engine warmed up.

 

Today, the display is for the most park empty with the occaisional flash.

 

Could this be the guage itself is broken or a connection is faulty?

 

The rest of the dash is fine.

48-58? Does it ever get any higher, sounds like the sensor is up the duff if it doesnt!

 

When you say the display is empty, does it show your petrol and mileage and just no temp or nothing at all?
