Zebedee - you *can* fit A048's to std rims, but you are slightly over-tyred at the front and the handling won't be quite optimal...

Plus to get the best out of sticky tyres you do need uprated suspension.

Have a word with Horizon about that, i believe they may well have been looking at Ohlins and may be able to help with a nice price

Thanks Scott for confirming above, they were my thoughts too - don't know what Jon was on about really!

Obviously has muddled mind getting rid of the beautifully designed MS Elise and even considering a VX, which however capable is there with Cayenne ;)

Would love Ohlins but may still get my Exige springs as price is so good, but will have a word with Horizon ;-)

Are you on commission yet?

LOL, i wish i was on commission :drive:

At the end of the day LSS is better than std... ok so Ohlins/Nitrons are probably a step up again - but probably only cos they are adjustable (which may not be your bag!) so go for it!

Having driven Anth's 135R i can wholey confirm that LSS and A048's makes for a whole lot of performance!

The LSS, as used in the 135R is thought by many to be too hard for frequent road use.

Indeed, at the Stratstone Lotus track day at Donington recently (c/o RobS), I was driving/being driven by the Lotus development engineer who developed the 135R package and he is aware of criticism from within about how hard the suspension is. He said for a limited edition, trackday orientated car he could get away with it, but not syuitable for a mainstream model.
