Steve J
I'm sorry but I don't believe that climate change is due to cars. Humans and animals as a whole produce more methane and CO2 than cars but even that is tiny compared with natual contributors. I don't deny that the global climate is changing but to blame only a very minute contributor is wrong. If we want to influence the natural fluctuaton in global temperatures we need to fix more carbon in the earth, and the best way of doing this is by having more plants/trees. There's a theory of thought based on something called the Gaia principled - don't know if you've heard of it. It was developed by a chap called James Lovelock and terms the planet Earth as a living (and therefore self-regulating) organism. Thus, if we upset the balance of things, we'll get 'spat out'... Cheery stuff for a Saturday morning! Bob - don't know if you're still about - if so, have a great cruise! If you're not, then you're not going to read this, you jammy, cruise-loafing sod! I'm just jealous!
