Looking to add a couple of cables into the Car,

does anyone know where the wiring is run from front to rear in a S2 and how to get to it?.

 

Any help would be grateful

I should think the looms run up the side chassis channels. ( could be a bugger to get to!!).

The wiring loom runs along the cockpit centre tunnel to the rear of the car,at the rear of the tunnel the harness passes through the fuel tank bay to emerge at the left hand front of the engine bay,from where it runs to the ECM panel and through a grommet into the rear luggage compartment.

Well thats what it says in the service manual.

Dave,

Depending on how many and what size wires you want to run its not that big a problem,I had a 6 disc changer in the boot of my last Liz and running the cables through the holes for the handbrake cable worked a treat,bit of a pita getting the undertray off but apart from that it was pretty straight forward.
