I recently knocked off my mirror while putting my sports bag in the car My first thought as nothing had broke was to glue it back on with superglue. i popped in a windscreen place to ask there advice and they burst out laughing when i mentioned this Apparently there is a bit of a heat reaction with certain glues and it will crack the screen! So hey children be careful out there if the same thing happens to you.

You can buy specific glass glue for that very reason

I was a bit cheeky and played dumb at autowindscreens and they very kindly put it back on using the correct glue, nice chaps
