Mark H
Takuma Sato has admitted that his second IndyCar Series appearance in Canada is likely to be an 'adventure' as he gears up for this weekend's Edmonton round. Taking place a week after Taku's debut 'north of the border' in Toronto - where he exited after a clash with KVRT team-mate Mario Moraes - the Edmonton race takes place on the runways of the city's airport, and offers an entirely different challenge to the teams and drivers. Despite his rookie status, Taku has been competitive in road racing qualifying - with two top-six starting positions in the #5 Lotus-backed entry - and will be looking for both another appearance in the Firestone Fast Six on Saturday afternoon and a strong race result on Sunday after running as high as fourth in the recent Watkins Glen event. "Edmonton will be another adventure run for me!" he insisted, "This place is again a very unique circuit as it is based on an airfield and well known to be possibly the most physical place because of its short straights, constant corners and, of course, the famous bumps... "The car set-up will be unique, but KV Racing had strong cars there last year so I feel positive for the weekend."
