There's normally a place on the documentation where you have to fill the current mileage in and then return it to them with your signed policy...

Got a quote from footman james at the donnington show

 

39 year old, restricted mileage to 5000, 1 x SP30 1 x SP40 6 points, garaged, 2nd car £450 quite reasonable i thought

No 6 points in total, 1 x SP30 1 x SP40, the SP40 isnt on my licence yet and is in dispute but its inevitable in the end so got them to quote with the 2 offences listed

Also on the restricted mileage thing, remember you get your car serviced and MOT'd and both documents have the mileage at that time on them.
