Mark H Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 I'm pretty sure the only Lotus approved bodyshop in the Birmingham area is City centre car care, just down the hill from the Nick Whale dealership. City Centre Car Care (0121 766 7699) I've never used them myself but have heard good reoprts.
Steve G Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 Yeah, I've used CCCC and can second their recommendation. Good quality work and very descent people to deal with. Steve.
GCCK Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 If Simon V is looking in, think he knows the garage that Paul Matty takes their body/paint jobs to. Sy? You there? As it happens, I'll be needing somewhere as well (Gurj & now Steve G know why - I'll confess all on Sunday!). AFAIK Nick Whale just role their bodywork jobs down the hill to CCCC, so GRP stuff should be second nature to them now. Think I'll try them first. I suppose until a month or so ago, Team Proactive would have been an option. Does anyone know whether they are going to resurrect or stay down?
Scott_Mac Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 If it is yr Elan that got hit, I would definitely phone Paul Matty and get them on the case - reknowned as experts with the classic cars, not so much with the new ones... http://www.paulmattysportscars.co.uk
Kris H Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 CCCC did a great job on mine when I battered the front clam, although it was a new clam job (see below). Looked great when done though and a couple of other scuffs etc were taken care of. Very easy to deal with and keep you informed as you go along. Also completed the job much quicker than originally suggested. Kristian
