Chrome Indicator Stalks?

Hi, Does anyone know how to fit chrome indicator stalks for the elise, as i have had a look and cant work out how to take the old one's out?

It depends what ones you have got - the Eliseparts ones come with a grub screw and a hacksaw to chop the vauxhall ones off. Other ones you need to take the steering column surround off and use glue.

I have the elise one's with the grub screws in. Does this mean i have to hacksaw the old one's so far down, then attach the new stalks to the bit left on?

Yes - I'll try and find some instructions for you.

"you mark the point were the original stalks come out of the steering column surround.

 

Remove the steering column surround, unplug the 2 stalks/switch assemblies, nice clean cut with a hacksaw at the points you marked, fit new alloy jobbies, refit switch/stalk, refit steering column surround "
