Snooper S4

Bought 2 of them a few months ago but have had continuous problems updating them. Errors such wrong comm port (which then works next time), as cannot communicate with Snooper, no response from server, incomplete download, etc

 

Any ideas anyone ? Tried on 3 different PCs, with same results. All 3 running fully updated W2000.

UPDATE

 

Nextdoor neighbour updated both our snoopers tonight in five minutes. That's miles faster than we've ever managed before for even a single unit update.

 

Both using W2000 and broadband. The only difference is that he's not got a firewall.

 

Anyone else had this problem ??

turn your firewall off whilst you do it ?

 

right click on the icon in the start menu and disable it.

Sorry, Jon - wasn't clear before. Only 1 PC has a firewall.

 

Also, the varying error messages from Snooper's server and the problems even with the PCs connecting to the Snooper units suggests something more than a firewall issue.
