Scott_Mac
I think Matty started a thread about the last bit... there was more drag with the roof off and also the soft top compared to the hardtop... think you'd be hard pushed to notice a change in fuel economy though. steve
They also give the car a more solid feel (just to sit in, not to drive) It's like having two cars! Would you like to try one out, Scott????
Dixie
I saw the thread but there were no real conculsions especailly with regard to the hard top. I doubt there would be any major difference, but if your doing 100s of motorway miles a week i dare say it could be noticable. You'd have though so anyway. Not really the reason for buying one anyhow but still thought it was worth a mention. Theres a chap by the name of Bailey on here who has an azure blue one for sale. I tried to get hold of him to buy his but to no avail. might be woth giving him a try again??? £500 IIRC

Would you like to try one out, Scott???? I am sure they are good and i know they hold their value, but i can think of things that cost £500 that i feel i would get far more use out of.... Like BP270 Cams for instance Cheers for the offer though
