MattyB
Lots of muppety cars to laugh at. Full of Novas, Saxo's and Corsas but its amusing to look at the shocking modifications... I'll be there - look out for my Elise on the stand with all the Lupo's and I'm only putting it there cause its safer than in the outside parking! Anyone? ipanter
What happened last year Ladders? I was there in my MX5 had a great time on the full GP circuit.....that was until i slowed down to come off the track and bucket loads of smoke started pouring out from under the bonnet, and through the vents. I left the track in the biggest cloud of smoke you've ever seen, i was panicing until i popped the bonnet and realised all that had happend was i'd lost my oil filler cap and it has pissed oil all over the exhaust manifold. Luckily as there were trade stands there i was able to buy a new filler cap and be able to drive home.

Ladders
What happend!:- Booked tracktime for around 11.30 Got to Silverstone around 9. Qued for 2 hours to get in. Missed track time but luckily they let me re book for later. Looked around. Chav City! Never seen so many Saxo's in my life! and a lot of them had been 'Modded' by putting chrome m3 mirrors on etc! Then more looking around and there was a huge area for the 'Fiesta Zetec club' or some B*llocks like that FFS! about 50 identical shopping spec Fiesta's! No Mk1 golfs or anything interesting. Still, was a laugh to see a hyundai with a big f•ck of Y shaped spoiler on the back! Oh yeah, track time. Spent 3 laps being held up by some nobbers in an Escort and track prepped 205 gti (would they move over!) would have overtaken but they were all over everyside of the track! Apart from that it was rubbish!
MattyB
Matty is a closet chav btw.... Oi, I resent that And I can't believe you went anywhere NEAR the track at Trax Ladders, you must have had a death wish. I wouldn't even take my old 106 on there, let alone my Lupo or Elise! Full of nobbers who think their Schumacher.... And like I say, I'm going purely for the laughs. Its pretty much avoided by many of the prestige marques....and I can understand why... MattyB
I don't wear gold sovereigns, I've never owned a baseball cap in my life and I only wear sportswear to the gym. On top of that, I've got the best Elise in the classiest colour. On a chav scale of 0-10, I'm in the negative How someone who used to own a Rover 214 can call me a chav, I don't know
Scott_Mac
Lupo GTi 'nuff said. Chav Boy.

Scott_Mac
No, no Lupo's are overwieght sardine can's, we've been through this... I actually see more chav's in early 106 XSi's... know anyone who used to own one of them?
MattyB
But like the Elise, the S1 106's were better than the S2... But I wont talk about 106 handling traits, you'll get me into trouble with Ben again

I found it pretty good actually, there were no nobbers when i went on track, but that was because it was a club booking from the MX5 owners club. If there are enough people wanting to drive the track at trax next year it would probably be worth making a MLOC booking. Although I found the GP track was too big for my old car, it felt like driving on the motorway, i can't see it being much different in an elise, an F1 car though, well that would be a different story!
