Exige Wheels On An S1...

I saw some black Exige wheels on a 160 and it looked great...but this just looks, well, wrong, IMO.

That's because they are polished and Exige wheels should be Matt Black.

Its because they are too beefy to suit the elise. The elise is a little midget noddy car and even the skinny 185 tyres suit it. The exige pull it off cos of its bodykit-esque look being squat as side profile and quite bulky front and back.

Raj_Vivi on SELOC has an Exige front end on his and flared rear arches and it kind of suits it... but i agree, that doesn't work.

 

The red leather seats look very black to me too!
