snowman
Morning guys.. Pulled on the car park this morning and there was a grating noise just as i stopped, nothing under the car or stuck in the wheel arch.. so looking at the worst case i might be in need of some MMC pads.. Any one know how long these babies last?? the curent ones are up to 18000 miles Have check out rag top but they are out of stock. !! any where else to get any from??? Looks like a very careful and slow drive home.... cheers
Scott_Mac
http://www.elise-shop.nl Ask Yvo he normally has them in... They *should* last longer than that... typical usage seems to be about 50k for the front and almost lifetime for the rears....
snowman
CHeers Scott.. Just been out and had a look around the wheels, seems to be plenty of material left on the pads.... so it looks like i will have to get the spanners out tonight!!!!! Oh well at least the sun is out!!! cheers w
Wuddie
Snow man...you've probably got a pebble stuck in between the pad and the disk, i had this not long ago and wondered what the hell had happened, If you reverse you'll probably find that the item will work its way loose, try some light reversing, and if that dont work..give it some and that should sort it.
