Kris H Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Richard - yours are supposed to be gold though aren't they? Bramble's were done by some hooligan... Simon G - these speedline ones might be of interest if they take the wider profile tyre. You don't know the widths on the front do you? If they're 6.5" that could be good.
Simon G Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Yeah that will be the wider fronts as far as I know, spoke to the guy at Speedline last month or so.
Scott_Mac Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 I know of an Exige that used to run some Technomagnesium Compotive's on it.. they were mega light and looked very similar to the Victory rims.... may be some details on their webby, may even be the same ones you are on about!
malbon Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 hmmmm http://www.exiges.com/ubbthreads/showflat....sb=5&o=&fpart=1
simondann111s Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Brain wave, what about the new exige wheels I thought, ther must fit the S2 - right..... Wrong appantly, the 111R and exige have a different track (+30mm) and the wheels have a different offset to suit. B@stards... there cheeper too - £1286.97 against £1668.50 for the OZ.
Simon G Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Not cheaper, the OZ price includes AO48 tyres, the Exige wheel price is just the rims if you are buying seperately.
simondann111s Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Not so Simon, the price I've been quoted included tyres in both cases.
Simon G Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Humm is that a price for the Exige wheels that come as standard with AO48's fitted including vat? Not the lightweight forged motorsport ones?! I have a Lotus brochure that gives details of accessories for the Elise MY2000 and Exige MY2004. One of the options is the new design forged motorsport wheels, as fitted to the US sports LSS kit, you can have them painted or anodised. So according to this they should fit the S2 Elise, 111S, 111R etc as well as the S2 Exige!! It gives the part numbers and has a picture. Who told you they were a different offset?
simondann111s Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Sinclairs, although they were waiting conformation from Lotus. Never did get back to me to confirm. Confused now???????
steve Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Has anyone got a pic of these OZ wheels that we're talking about??? thanks steve
Scott_Mac Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 See Simon's other thread with the pics he shows.. nice black multi-spoke ones. Lovely!
ipanter Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Storm told me that the wheels from the Exige and 111r would not fit the S1, if that is any help.
steve Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Speaking of naff wheels, has anyone seen those stupidly shiny ones that seem to have a centre cap that spins independently of the wheel? RUBBISH!!!
Bramble111s Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 I filled my pants laughing when I saw these on some battered old sierra with kev'd up spoiler etc!
