Black Wheels

I've decided I want my wheels to be black and have been searching for places to do it round Nottingham but not really found many places up to now. Has anyone else had it done? I want it doing properly and don't want it peeling off, etc in a few months time!

Firstly check a few reviews on SELOC about Liam's experience with powder coating.... if its just painting then you should be ok.

id recomend redditch shot blast, they re-powder coated a wheel for me, but i would think thats a little far for you james lol

 

ps. if you wanna see what your car will look like with black / or gold wheels, i can have a play around in photoshop with a photo, if you like

I think my car would look great with black wheels... but have better ways to spend cash on it at the mo!

Cheers guys...I was really wanting the 111s wheels but it will be cheaper to just get mine coated. Thanks for the photoshop offer Spike, I've been trying to figure out how to do it myself! Heres a pic anyway if you get time mate, or theres some in the 'my garage' section Cheers...James

FWIW I think the car looks good with the wheels as they are. If you want the 111s wheels you might be best off posting on SELOC and hoping that someone is upgrading to LSS with oz rims etc thrown in...

I have black wheels on my car but I noticed I have a few chips in them...if I had spare cash I would get them redone but its not a major issue at the moment. See my gallery for pics

There really good! Definitely gonna go ahead with it now, makes it look alot meaner I think, although my girlfriend hates black wheels. I'll tell her when its too late Either that or a tone like the 111s wheels, what do you call that? Anthracite?

Edited to say: So when are you gonna go ahead and change your photoshopped car into reality Spike?! Really like the white OZ wheels on that colour scheme.

looks good, doesnt it i like white wheels on red cars, but i think on a silver car, id have to go for black or antracite wheels. ive got a lovely pic of a yellow s1 with some killer black oz wheels on it, very tempting.... i assume you need some form of adapter to fit these wheels?? or do oz wheels fit the elise??
