New Exhaust Fitted.

Well I finally got my new 2Bular exhaust fitted to day down at Silverstone and all I can  say is I smiled all the 65 miles home I just had to keep power on off on it sounds great and then its really quiet when cruising no real drone. Very pleased so far. They also fixed a few other things so all is well.

While I was there I had a good look under the back end because as in one of my other posts I want to fit some kind of reversing sensors, the tech guys told me to fit a Parkingdynamics system, i've had a look on the net and they get mixed reviews has anyone got this system fitted it uses a strip inside the bumper or in our case boot.

Thanks in advance.

The parking dynamics system isn't that accurate, I fitted the system to a Tigra before. It doesn't work like normal parking sensors either. When you put the car into reverse it takes an image of what's behind the car, then when you begin to move it detects these changes and beeps at you. If your already on top of an object it wont detect it until you start moving towards it.

If you really need sensors I'd go with the number plate surround ones but I've never really seen the need in a car as small as the Elise.

Nice xhaust, also re the sensors couldn't you get some conventional ones and just mount them in the black trim and at the sides of the bumper so no drilling through the clam and no need to colour code them?

Mine has had cameras fitted, front and back, by a previous owner. I don't use them or have the monitor fitted, but I have the details and receipt of who fitted them if your interested.
