Elise Window Stuck - Solved!

Hi 

I just wanted to share this as my window has been stuck (luckily up) since last year and after having a baby in November I've only just got round to doing this! 

 

It was simply screw 19a from this diagram https://www.deroure.com/diagrams.asp?TBL=5820&MAK=1&MDL=22&SMA=0&SMO=0&ST=&SC=0 that had come loose which was obstructing the channel. However, because the window was stuck up, I couldn't get to it! 

I had to basically unbolt the window from the lifting mechanism which meant I could then wiggle the window past this screw to get it down, then I could tighten the screw through the now empty slot at the top (near the wing mirror). Result.

 

So, from this I would recommend checking this screw tightness from time to time (and the other one at the back). !

Top tip, had this happen to me but luckily I was able to get the window down, just!!!
