Toxic Green S-Cup - (Aka Grogu)

Car has not been cleaned, but the Track wheels have and the AR1's have some tyre dressing applied to clean them up 🙂

I really enjoyed going through all the posts in this thread, I've not had my car long enough yet to feel fully confident about doing a track day yet but you have certainly inspired me to go for it in the near future 🙂

I’ve also greatly enjoyed reading through your thread and progress to date. 
 

I have an S Cup in the same colour, and I imagine I’ll be on a similar journey as you, maintaining to a high standard but finding the opportunity to enjoy as intended from time to time.

Glad it's of some interest to some here as I have always done (build threads) as I would have called them in the past on forums and like to try and keep forums alive and not just rely on facebook like most do now it seems 😞

Don't hesitate mate, these cars are so intuitive and forgiving imo and they really do need to be enjoyed how they were made to be enjoyed.

Where are you based, maybe we will cross paths one day ion the cars 🙂

That's awesome, so another Toxic Green and not the other Isotope Green? Love it... Where are you based, someone on the Lotus Cup page was trying to compile a full list of Toxic Green paint coded cars as there are apparently only 6, are you on that list already?

So having had a successful and fun evening at Brands Hatch (not pushing the car at all as it was my first time using it and I was bedding in the brakes etc) I can confirm these cars don;t only look great, but they perform amazingly. I was worried about DB levels on drive by at it was a low DB level of 88db but I had not issues (which may have been does to the fact I was not in sport mode at all and with my setup this means I was limited to 80% of everything, throttle, power etc) so whatever happens it means out of sport the car is quiet and compliant 🙂

Anyway here are a few photos of the car from the fun evening in June, loving the photo from above as it really does show the colour in the sunlight, personally I prefer it in the lower light scenarios where it;s more Matte, but this actually looks awesome.

I’m in south Staffordshire, so good access to areas such as Derbyshire for drives/meets etc. Lotus in the Peaks last weekend was great and there was another Toxic Green S Cup there actually.

i must have missed the post on the facebook page (like you, I’ve always preferred forums for car related stuff). I have the certificate of provenance for my car and it lists 12 Toxic Green S Cup or 220 Cup Elise’s, with mine being number 5. I’d be up for supporting trying to establish a register of S Cup cars. 
 

Definitely enjoying your build thread so far, I have one to update at some point this weekend but perhaps I’ll bump into you at a track at some point if you’re not close - I’m with Lotus on Track on the 4th August at Donington evening session.

Oh cool, yeah I am down in Kent mate so a bit of a trek, but luckily I have Brands Hatch within 20 mins ish of mine so that's a bit of a benefit lol.

That does sound about   right, I believe it was 6 OG S-Cups and then some 220Cups, the OG S-Cups were the ones I believe Russell was looking for.

I will have to plan a few road trips when I get time later this year, currently never finding time to do anything on weekends which sucks, but hope to cross paths sometime at a track or LoT event or something.
